I am currently a postdoc in the Computational Metagenomics group led by Prof. Nicola Segata at the Department of Cellular, Computational and Integrative Biology (CIBIO) of the University of Trento, Italy, and I am also working as a bioinformatic consultant for ZOE Global Limited (London, UK). My main research interests are the study of the relationship of the human gut microbiome and diet through machine learning approaches and the development of new software tools for metagenomic analyses, mainly related to computational phylogenetics to characterize unknown microbial organisms.
